Just because we dont gamble, doesnt mean we arent paying someone's salary. After decades of a marginal existence, the Pala tribe in 2001 opened a casino and a 10-story, 507-room hotel on the tribe’s reservation, 52 miles north of San Diego, six miles east of Interstate 15. You know, its a shame because we roll deep! Pechanga raked in $30k from us in March for a girls trip! And we posted amazing reviews. us working people/parents/locals should matter. How quick Pala is to forget those that still spent money and contributed during the pandemic. Thats not only disappointing but it's super disgusting. Well today I was told it was because Pala apparently is now reserving rooms for high rollers only, so you literally have to call in and give your player card number before they can tell you if a room is available during the dates you would like to stay.
I have had zero luck getting one room for one weekend. This entire year I have called every month trying to book just one weekend there to get away, watch the Jazmin band, pop bottles at the pool where I/we (my friends and family) always dropped $500 on a cabana. When I was there obviously most of the highrollers/older people were in quarantine which is totally understandable and I support them 100% however I went to Pala and supported during this time. I stayed a Pala Casino multiple times between 20 for random but needed pandemic get-aways.
